A Model 112 upright piano in a mahogany case, this piano is in showroom condition and is sold with a matching John Austin single stool in a fawn upholstery.
As you can see this piano is in showroom condition and is a stunning example of the Model 112 upright piano produced by Schimmel. This piano would suite any modern or traditional style home. Come along to our viewing days and test the piano out.

When you contact us for help to sell your piano most estimates can be given within the initial phone call. However, if your piano is an antique piano, ornate or rare then to offer you an accurate value we would ask for a selection of 15 pictures that cover the casing and the mechanics of the instrument to aid us in determining its value. These can be sent by post or email.
The best way to sell your piano is with Britannia Piano Auctions in order to obtain the best value of your instrument today. We will forward you a clear and simple form to complete and return to us. This form will include a break down of the Auction House fees.

1st Day of Viewings….

Today was the 1st day of viewings and the bids are in already. We thought it would be nice to share a selection of pictures with you of the pianos around the room. We took the pictures after we had closed at 8pm so you didn’t have to see the scarfs and jackets !

A Steinway Model M in a mahogany satin case raised on square tapered legs. This piano was overhauled by Steinway in 1999 and sold at the Steinway convention of the following year. The work undertaken includes the piano being restrung, new hammers fitted, the action renovated and refinished casework.

Model: Cottage upright piano
SN: 46487
Year: c.1870
Est: £500.00 – £1,000.00
This 7 octave piano completed on 13/6/1871 (written date on key at treble) was a limited edition designed by John Reid for Prince Albert’s memorial that opened just over one year later in July 1872.
This piano has been restored and is finished in an ebony case with brass inlay covering the whole instrument & extra gilt work on the top and bottom panels. This instrument is fitted with Brass sconces
Tradesmen and foremen who worked for Broadwood Piano Company between 1860’s and 1880’s have stamped their names as the quality control mark on action, keys and cabinet;
